The Flag of the City of Juniper

The white background represents the inherent purity of the City of Juniper, which is integral to everything.

The light and thin blue Nordic cross (a Christian cross) represents the high moral character and ethical integrity of the City of Juniper, with the blue itself being symbolic of the sea we sit near.

The black border around the Seal of Juniper represents the absolute resolve and integrity of Juniper, and the strength which surrounds our seal.

The 23 green stars surrounding the Seal of Juniper represents the 23 members of the City of Juniper. The green color itself is symbolic of our honesty, but also, the trees and forest which surrounds us.

The Juniper Tree within the seal represents the core of our identity, and the namesake of our city.

The hollow golden star above the Juniper Tree represents our missing counselor, Ian, who left following sickness, and whom we forever remember.

The purple text of “City of Juniper” is representative of our uniqueness and speciality, purple being a color used on no flag other than one (Dominica).

The black text of our motto, “Fortis et fidelis per laborem” (Strong and loyal through hard work) represents the absoluteness of our motto, and our committment to it. The motto itself represents what we stand for at the highest level, and is representative of Juniper City as a whole.
